Dalam sambutannya saat membuka acara, Ketua Pelaksana Dies Natalis UNTIDAR ke-43, Ir. Usman Siswanto, M.Sc., Ph.D. menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih atas kehadiran para alumni yang telah meluangkan waktu memenuhi undangan panitia Dies Natalis. “UNTIDAR lahir pada tahun 1979. Di tahun 2014 terjadi transisi dari Universitas Tidar Magelang (UTM) menjadi Universitas Tidar (UNTIDAR), dan berubah status menjadi perguruan tinggi negeri. Ini merupakan hadiah yang luar biasa bagi sivitas akademika UNTIDAR, maupun masyarakat Magelang,” ucap Usman. “Dari tahun ke tahun, jumlah mahasiswa UNTIDAR meningkat signifikan. Saat ini UNTIDAR mahasiswanya 12.000 an, kedepan akan terus naik dari aspek kuantitas, sehingga jumlah mahasiswa menjadi lebih besar. Konsekuensi logis adalah menghasilkan alumni yang jumlahnya juga meningkat. Alumni merupakan bagian strategis, komponen keluarga besar yang perannya sangat dibutuhkan untuk masa yang akan datang. Alumni dibutuhkan sebagai sumber informasi, selain itu kiprahnya diperlukan untuk meningkatkan jejaring, agar menjadi lilin penerangan bagi adik-adik mahasiswa.” tambahnya.

Acara ‘Sharing Alumni’ menghadirkan Wening Lumintu, S.E. (Alumni UNTIDAR, program studi S1 Ekonomi Pembangunan), dan Drs. Lucas Susilo Wardoyo (Alumni UNTIDAR, program studi Administrasi Negara). Keduanya banyak berbagi cerita dan pengalaman selama menjadi mahasiswa UNTIDAR. “UNTIDAR membentuk saya menjadi pribadi yang lebih percaya diri. Karena dulu saya aktif di berbagai organisasi mahasiswa seperti BEM, UKM Radio, dan Unit Koperasi Mahasiswa, saya mendapatkan tambahan ilmu, ketrampilan dan berbagai softskill untuk melengkapi kecakapan akademik, yang membuat saya begitu yakin untuk berwirausaha setelah lulus kuliah,” kata Wening. Unit Pelayanan Teknis Pengembangan Kewirausahaan dan Pembangunan Pedesaan Universitas Tidar (UPT PKPP UNTIDAR) menerima kunjungan dari dosen dan mahasiswa program studi Agribisnis, Fakultas Pertanian dan Peternakan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Rombongan dipimpin oleh Ketua Program Studi Agribisnis Dr. Edi Efrita, M.P. Dosen Agrisbisnis yang turut berkunjung yaitu Ir. Edy Marwan, M.M., Ir. Jon Yawahar, M.Si., Anton Feriady, M.P., Elni Murmainnah, M.P., dan Widia, S.P.

            “Merupakan suatu kehormatan bagi kami bisa bersemuka dengan teman-teman dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB). Meskipun beda pulau beda provinsi, saya berharap pertemuan ini akan menjadi awal yang indah bagi UNTIDAR dan UMB untuk melakukan kerjasama yang berkelanjutan,” tutur Dra. Lucia Rita Indrawati, M.Si. Senada dengan yang disampaikan oleh Dra. Lucia, Dr. Edy Marwan menyampaikan rasa bahagianya bisa diterima dengan begitu antusias oleh Kepala dan para Staf Ahli UPT PKPP UNTIDAR. Dalam sambutannya yang diwarnai banyak pantun Dr. Edy mengatakan bahwa maksud kunjungan kali ini selain untuk bersilaturahmi juga dalam rangka belajar bagaimana melakukan pendampingan pada Desa Binaan. Tak hanya dosen dari UNTIDAR dan UMB yang saling berdiskusi, selama kunjungan mahasiswa UNTIDAR dan UMB juga saling sharing dan bertukar cerita serta pengalaman.

            UPT PKPP selama ini rutin mengadakan kegiatan pengembangan kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa UNTIDAR dan masyarakat sekitar kampus. Selain itu secara berkesinambungan juga melakukan pendampingan di beberapa Desa Binaan, diantaranya di Desa Kwadungan Gunung Wonosobo, Desa Balesari Kabupaten Magelang dan Desa Ngargogondo Borobudur Kabupaten Magelang. Agar dosen dan mahasiswa prodi Agribisnis fakultas Pertanian dan Peternakan UMB mendapatkan gambaran yang riil  terkait program pembangunan pedesaan dari UPT PKPP, setelah sesi penyambutan di kampus UNTIDAR, UPT PKPP mengajak rombongan dari UMB mengunjungi Desa Ngargogondo Borobudur tepatnya di Wisata Spot Selfie dan Glamour Camping Terasering Menoreh. Di sana rombongan disambut oleh Kepala Desa Ngargogondo didampingi oleh pengelola Terasering Menoreh Hani Sutrisno. Selain mengelola Terasering Menoreh, Hani adalah pemilik Desa Bahasa dan Wisata Kelinci Borobudur.

            “Desa Ngargogondo adalah desa swadaya. Kami tergerak untuk memajukan masyarakat desa tanpa campur tangan investor. Mungkin perkembangannya tidak bisa cepat, tapi kami optimis wisata di desa Ngargogondo bisa mengalami kemajuan yang signifikan. Alhamdulillah UNTIDAR selalu mendampingi kami, melaksanakan berbagai program, termasuk memfasilitasi pembentukan kelompok sadar wisata,” kata Hani. Saya selama ini sudah mengembangkan Desa Bahasa dan Wisata Kelinci. Pengunjung Wisata Kelinci terus bertambah dari waktu ke waktu. Antusiasme anak-anak dan remaja yang mengikuti program Belajar Cepat Bahasa Inggris di Desa Bahasa juga  terus meningkat. Prof. Dr. A. Sri Haryati, M.Pd. dikukuhkan menjadi Guru Besar di bidang ilmu Manajemen Pendidikan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Tidar (UNTIDAR), Rabu (25/05)

Dalam upacara pengukuhan, Sri Haryati menyampaikan pidato berjudul “Mitigasi Learning Loss Sebagai Dampak Pandemi Covid-19”. Ia menjelaskan bahwa dampak Covid-19 pada sektor pendidikan diantaranya : 1. Kebijakan Social Distancing yang berdampak pada proses pembelajaran, 2. Online Learning dikarenakan proses pembelajaran tatap muka yang harus dihentikan sementara, dan 3. Learning Loss yaitu hilangnya capaian hasil belajar akibat terhentinya/terganggunya proses pembelajaran di sistem pendidikan.

“Merujuk pada laporan Bank Dunia tahun 2021, ‘Kemiskinan Belajar’ terjadi terutama di negara-negara dengan pendapatan menengah ke bawah. Literasi turun sekitar 32-37%, Matematika turun sekitar 50-63%, sementara itu masalah Mental dan Sosial terjadi akibat minimnya interaksi antara siswa dengan guru, dan siswa dengan siswa. Strategi untuk mengurangi risiko dan dampak learning loss yaitu : 1 Pengajaran Dengan Metode Spiral, 2. Penekanan Pada Materi Prasyarat, 3. Pembelajaran Kilat Untuk Materi Khusus, 4. Perencanaan Yang Fleksibel, Fokus Pada Personal dan Pembelajaran Abad 21,” jelasnya.

Lebih lanjut ia menjelaskan Pembelajaran Abad 21 meliputi Pembelajaran Berbasis Riset dan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek. “Pembelajaran Berbasis Riset adalah proses pembelajaran menekankan pada aktivitas penyelidikan yang dilakukan oleh siswa untuk mencapai tujuan belajarnya. Tahapannya  yaitu Engage: Persiapan Penyelidikan, Research: Penyelidikan, Analisis, Penyimpulan, dan Penyusunan Laporan, serta Present: Pengkomunikasian hasil penyelidikan.

Adapun Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan melibatkan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah dalam dunia nyata melalui kegiatan multidisipliner yang mengedepankan team-working. Strategi implementasinya yaitu : 1. Melibatkan beberapa mata pelajaran dalam satu proyek, 2. Menjembatani pengetahuan akademisi menuju situasi kehidupan riil/nyata, 3. Memberikan pengalaman praktis realistis, dan 4. Meningkatkan kemampuan kolaboratif siswa.

“Selain itu keterlibatan keluarga dan masyarakat dalam mitigasi learning loss sangatlah dibutuhkan. Orang tua harus selalu terlibat dalam kehidupan akademik anak, didukung oleh lingkungan masyarakat yang kondusif,” tuturnya.

Dalam pidatonya, Sri Haryati juga memaparkan bahwa Kelas Hibrida adalah solusi yang bisa diterapkan sebagai langkah mitigasi learning loss pasca pandemi. Metode ini merupakan jalan tengah untuk mengakomodasi pembelajaran daring dan luring. “Mitigasi learning loss merupakan tanggung jawab bersama demi mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Institusi Pendidikan diharapkan dapat menerapkan strategi-strategi penanggulangan learning loss yang dianggap paling efektif sesuai kondisi masing-masing. Dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor dalam mengambil kebijakan, institusi pendidikan hendaknya berupaya untuk meminimalisir kerugian yang ditimbulkan oleh kebijakan yang diambil dan memaksimalkan manfaat dari kebijakan tersebut, sehingga kebijakan akan diterima di semua lini,” tambahnya.

Pengukuhan Gelar Guru Besar kepada Prof. Dr. A. Sri Haryati, M.Pd. adalah pertama kalinya sejak Universitas Tidar berubah status menjadi Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. “Semoga bisa memotivasi teman-teman dosen yang lain untuk terus bergerak maju dan meraih pencapaian membanggakan, meraih jabatan fungsional tertinggi dosen yaitu Guru Besar, agar semakin mengharumkan nama UNTIDAR,” pungkasnya.

Kehadiran Guru Besar Bidang Ilmu Pendidikan ini menambah jumlah Guru besar di UNTIDAR menjadi 9 orang.

“Kehadiran guru besar ini sangat ditunggu untuk mendukung pengembangan UNTIDAR. Terlebih, dunia pendidikan yang digeluti Prof. Dr. A. Sri Haryati merupakan bagian penting dari kemajuan bangsa,” kata Rektor, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mukh Arifin, M.Sc.

Konon kalau ingin menghancurkan suatu bangsa, tidak dibutuhkan senjata yang canggih dan menghabiskan banyak dana, cukup dirusak saja sistem pendidikannya.

“Misalnya, jika dalam sekolah kita biarkan saja para siswa tidak disiplin waktu, berperilaku tidak jujur, tidak hormat sesama dan orang tua maka rusak sudah negara dan bangsa ini. Akan bermunculan penegak hukum tidak jujur, kepada daerah tidak jujur dan malas,” tambahnya.

Kehadiran professor manajemen pendidikan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peran UNTIDAR dalam berkontribusi terhadap perbaikan sistem pendidikan melalui pembelajaran untuk menghasilkan pendidik yang berkualitas, penelitian yang menghasilkan solusi baru bagi permasalahan di bidang pendidikan dan layanan masyarakat untuk memberikan pencerahan bagi masyarakat tentang bagaimana berurusan dengan dunia pendidikan secara benar.
